SECOND LANGUAGE ACQUISITION PROGRAM
The Second Language Acquisition Program (SLAP) is a unique opportunity for bilingual education students to come into contact with second language acquisition processes both in English and Spanish while experiencing the native culture of porteños. The program combines a TAship in a bilingual elementary school in Buenos Aires with a course in teaching Spanish as Second Language. This combination of theoretical instruction and practical experience will enable an increased understanding of both second language acquisition and teaching methodology.
